Being drawn to Pop, R&B and Contemporary Christian music, Beven started playing the piano at the age of six. He's had the privilege to perform with some of the finest musicians, vocalists & songwriters in India, including KK, Amit Trivedi, Clinton Cerejo, Blackstratblues (Warren Mendonsa), Nikhil D’Souza & Sonia Saigal. Over the past 18 years, he has also performed with Shruti Haasan, Sona Mohapatra, Farhan Akhtar, Rochak Kohli, Raghav Sachar, Karsh Kale, Vishal & Shekhar, Neha Bhasin, Shruti Pathak, Divya Kumar & Anushka Manchanda.
In his early years of playing professionally, he performed on resident hotel contracts at Taj Land’s End, JW Marriott, Novotel & Taj Bengal. He later performed on MTV Coke Studio with Clinton Cerejo on season 2 and 3. This gave him the opportunity to work with the stellar vocal talents of Vishal Dadlani, Vijay Prakash, Sonu Kakkar, Nandini Srikar, Sawan Khan Manganiar, Bianca Gomes, Siddharth Basrur, Jonita Gandhi & Sanam Puri and more recently, on MTV Unplugged with Papon, Ayushmann Khurrana, Siddharth Mahadevan & Ami Mishra.
In 2015, he became a part of Ananthaal, a fusion band led by Clinton Cerejo, which features Vijay Prakash, Bianca Gomes, Gino Banks, Sheldon D’Silva & Pozy Dhar. He currently performs with Blackstratblues, Amit Trivedi & Nikhil D'Souza.
Apart from playing live gigs, Beven has also worked on fund raising concerts for various Charitable Organizations & NGO's like The Sankalp Rehabilitation Trust, Kripa Foundation & The Navjeet Community Centre to name a few.
Some of the milestone concerts of Beven's career include performing with Dominique Cerejo as the opening act for the Don Moen concert in 2010, and performing with Paul Meany of Mutemath & the Karsh Kale Collectiv at the NH7 Music Festival in 2013.
David Foster, Walter Afanasieff, Tom Brooks & Mark Hayes have been some of Beven’s major musical influences while artists that are always found on his Top 20 playlist include Michael Bublé, Toto, Brian Culbertson, Incognito, Lenny LeBlanc, The Brand New Heavies, Don Moen, Earth Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson, Simply Red, Philips Craig & Dean, Whitney Houston & Lionel Richie.
